We Belong to God

But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,

And He who formed you, O Israel:

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you:

I have called you by name;

You are mine.”

Isaiah 43:1

 

Father in heaven, we acknowledge that we belong to You twice over. We belong to You by creation and we belong to You by redemption. Thank You that You loved us so much that You gave Your only Begotten Son, that believing in Him we should not perish but have everlasting life.Thank You that You did not send Your Son to condemn us but to save us.

Each one of us is personally known and loved by You. You know our names. How precious are Your thoughts to each one of us, O God! How great is the sum of them. If we should count them, they would be more in number than the sand.

So we praise and worship You for Your great kindness to us and once again we surrender our lives to You for Your service.

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
