As the crowds grew and demanded more of His time and energy, Jesus carefully guarded His prayer times.

"The report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.

"So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed." Luke 5:15-16

Isaiah 50:4 says this about His prayer life and ministry:

"The Lord GOD has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I may know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens My ear To hear as the learned."
