Part 1 Poisoning by Glyphosate Weed Killer

Tuesday 25 October 2016

We are all being poisoned by the most popular weed killer on the planet. And yet billions of people are turning a blind eye to recent scientific facts. People, animals, plants, insects and soil life are developing disease at an increasing rate and researchers say this weed killer could be a missing part of the disease puzzle. Apparently, being poisoned, getting sick, taking medication, suffering and dying is the new normal on planet earth.

In 1974 a company called Monsanto, began selling a chemical formula patented as Roundup to kill unwanted plants, or "weeds". Anything which kills plants is known as a herbicide.

Weed Killer 1970's Science FALSE?

The Monsanto website says this about Roundup:

"...has excellent environmental features such as rapid soil binding, biodegradation and extremely low toxicity to mammals, birds and fish..."

And so based on the claim of "extremely low toxicity", Roundup has become the most popular weedkiller on the planet. But scientists have discovered that the unimaginable is true: Glyphosate's claim to EXTREMELY LOW TOXICITY based on 1970's science, IS FALSE.

Roundup is a liquid formulation with a mixture of ingredients, but the company says only one is "active". An active ingredient is the substance in a formulation that gets the job done. In this case, the active ingredient in Roundup is known as "glyphosate", the ingredient which kills the unwanted plant. Many people know this, but when out and about in the community, the majority know the name "Roundup" but don't know about glyphosate or how Roundup works to kill plants.

Weed Killer Safety Instructions too TINY to read

Most of us have been told that Roundup is perfectly safe. The Roundup packaging, warns people to to keep the container away from children and to read instructions on the back. Turn the container around, and there you have a panel of writing so tiny, that my guess is most people would probably NOT read the instructions.

Monsanto - where are the diagrams showing users to wear protective clothing, masks, gloves? Do you realise there are aporoximately 23% of people in the general population who cannot read? Or that for many users in English speaking countries, English is not their first language? I have lived and worked around farmers for more than 20 years in three different countries, and I can tell you the majority are too pushed for time, working against the weather, or left their reading glasses at home to read tiny instructions.

Roundup Weed Killer Safe Enough to Drink?

I myself have heard a farmer say Roundup is so safe, he could drink it.

Only in the past few years has science surged forward, and begun to expose the true facts. This is potentially dangerous for the scientists revealing the truth to the public, and unfortunately most people do not want to know, "...who have eyes and see not, And who have ears and hear not..." Jeremiah 5:21. Will you look, listen and learn?

This is what Monsanto says:

What is glyphosate?

Glyphosate is a unique molecule. There’s no other herbicide like it. In fact, it’s in a group all on its own – herbicide group M. How does it work? Glyphosate inhibits an essential plant enzyme called EPSPS (5-enolpyruvyl – shikimate -3 – phosphate synthase). Inhibition of this enzyme prevents production of aromatic amino acids required for protein synthesis.

Shikimate Pathway Disrupted by Glyphosate Weed Killer

Did you see that little word: shikimate? Have another look. See there it is. I bolded it for you.

Glyphosate kills plants by disrupting the shikimate pathway in plants. This in turn kills bacteria the plant needs, to produce amino acids (amino acids are used to build proteins). Without proteins the plant dies.

Until the last few years, scientists thought people, animals, insects and fish didn't have the shikimate pathway - so glyphosate couldn't be harmful. In fact, the Monsanto website states as at  25 October 2016, that if a person consumes glyphosate,  half of that glyphosate is  excreted in urine within two hours.

Beneficial Bacteria in Human Gut has Shikimate Pathway - toppled by Glyphosate Weed Killer

And this is the area where science has made a shock discovery. True, the shikimate pathway does not exist in the human body or the bodies of mammals or fish, BUT the skimate pathway does exist in our microbiome - the trillions of bacteria living mostly in our digestive tract.

Bacteria, previously thought to be the villain killing the human race, has now been shown to perform unknown numbers of essential actions to keep us alive and healthy.

YOU are probably eating Glyphosate Weed Killer

This is HUGE because it means every human, animal or insect which eats plants grown in soil sprayed with glyphosate before planting, is eating glyphosate.

Next step in the body of the human, animal, fish or insect - the glyphosate begins to work its sentence of death on the shikimate pathway, and beyond. Almost every disease you are seeing increasing in our world today can be linked back to the disruption of the shikimate pathway.

To grasp this concept, I must ask you to banish any idea you have that all bacteria is bad!

I know, I understand. Most of us were brought up in the era where all bacteria was seen as bad. I was a sick baby, needing a heart operation, and so my mother was extremely careful to clean and disinfect any surface I came into contact with, in case of bacteria.

Bacteria - Good, Bad and Opportunists

But, science has moved on. We now understand that bacteria is pretty much like the rest of our planet. Some bacteria is good, some bacteria can be bad, and some bacteria is downright opportunistic. This means, if conditions are right, an otherwise minor population of bacteria can grow out of control and start to do harm. As glyphosate kills off good bacteria, the opportunistic bacteria start to flourish.

This is quite an indepth subject, and that is why this article is two weeks later than planned on the Vital Force website. The information about the shikimate pathway is just scratching the tip of the iceberg.

To be truthful, when I started researching Roundup and glyphosate, the information was pretty overwhelming and I needed to make sure the research was credible. Added to that, we had our own Roundup event happening, and after researching, my heart sunk low. For a couple of days I felt unable to even begin to write because the situation seemed hopeless.

Trust in Jesus to show you the Way

And yet, during the last 21 years, as I have been learning about Jesus Christ and developing a closer relationship with Him,  I have come to realise that a seemingly bad situation can be turned upside down - and there, right there, in that little hidden spot, you will find the blessing, the lesson from God.

So I turned the Roundup and glyphosate issue upside down - and there I saw the opportunity to share the blessing and the good news:

GOD IS NOT CAUGHT OUT BY ROUNDUP OR GLYPHOSATE! He knows it all and has provided a way through.

The Enemy Does Not Sleep - but God has the Answer for each of us

Believe it or not, Glyphosate is being used as a tool to hurt and damage as many people as possible. The blame for this does not lie with any single human, but goes clearly back to "the adversary", the deluded wicked one we call Satan. You can read more about the history of Lucifer, now called Satan here. In the meantime, here are two texts straight from the Bible to help your understanding:

"Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." Revelation 12:12

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

Will you look, listen and learn?

To get you started, go here to an interview by Zenn Honeycutt, with Anthony Samsel, one of the scientists who has been researching Glyphosate. I like this, because the information is pretty easy to understand. (2013)

And here to read or download one of the scientific papers by  Anthony Samsel and Professor Stephanie Seneff. (2013)

And here to read about Dr. Robert Kremer's experience of studying glyphosate. Dr Kremer is a Professor of Soil Microbiology at the University of Missouri and is recently retired after a 32-year career as a microbiologist with the U.S.D.A.  (April 2015)

Oh, and here to read a summary of an interview with Dr Don Huber. Dr. Don Huber, professor emeritus of Purdue University, Idaho, is a microbiologist and plant pathologist that has worked for over half a century on chemicals such as Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s patented herbicide Roundup. (April 2014)

Believe me, there is more to come. I pray you may receive a blessing of information and education from these links.

The next post  about glyhposate will share information on easy, low cost ways to help support your body, even when you are still eating glyphosate contaminated food.   If you find this helpful, please share with anyone who could benefit!
